Bihar state government has announced the Service Plus RTPS,  which resembles the portal of other state governments. As the Bihar RTPS portal is updated with a new version, which has some changes in mechanism, the government renamed the portal the Service Plus portal.

Other state governments like Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra have RTPS portals named according to their convenience. Hence, no significant difference exists between the RTPS service portal and the RTPS service plus portal. The only difference is that the RTPS service plus portal is specially designed for Bihar state beneficiaries.
